Partridge Painting

Partridge - Protector  36"x 40"  Mixed Media Acrylic                          

I am a partridge and I am a fierce protector of my family. If you cross my path while I'm with my children I may startle you. My loud chirps and spiral flutters are to guide you away. I will even make myself look bigger than life and run towards you with my wings spread. It is my duty to protect my children, as they are the next generation. I want them to feel safe and healthy living on Mother Earth. My children need time to learn the life skills I am passing down. I will ensure that my family is safe and guide them away from any outside dangers. I know someday they will be ready to fly from the nest. They will be the knowledge keepers for the next generation.
