Sturgeon - Adaptivity & Endurance  36"x 40"  Mixed Media Acrylic

I am the Sturgeon, and over millions of years, I have become adept at adapting to even the most challenging circumstances. Through self-preservation, I have weathered countless changes and provided sustenance to those who respect my home. Just like you, I too require support on my journey, and my survival depends solely on fresh water. Unfortunately, I have had to endure many tragic events where other beings have taken my life force - my eggs - to satisfy their appetite for delicacies. It takes me 20 years to spawn my first eggs, which puts my survival at risk. Yet, I will do anything to ensure the survival of my family and homeland. Even with my will, endurance, and adaptability, I may still need help to survive in this changing environment.
